Law Degrees
Advanced degrees in law are very popular in US. Almost all courses require the applicant to have completed the LL.M. program. Some law schools only take their own students for masters in the law degree. The rules involved vary between institutions and while some expect the students to do extra coursework or credit hours, some do not. You will have to choose a faculty member as your advisor at the commencement of your course who will look over your dissertation. You can complete the course within 2-5 years and the first 2 years are spent in residence.
